You'll work closely with experienced educators and specialists to implement behavior support strategies and foster a positive classroom environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, behavior specialist, or related field, especially within schools
• Previous background as a behavior technician or RBT highly valued
• Comfort and enthusiasm for working with PreK and elementary-aged children
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the supervision of certified teachers and specialists
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Maintain a safe and engaging learning space, encouraging positive behaviors
• Collect data and participate in progress monitoring to help guide instructional decisions
• Support students both one-on-one and in small group settings, adapting techniques as needed
• Act as a key resource in reinforcing classroom expectations and helping students develop essential social-emotional skills
