This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant who wish to provide compassionate, attentive 1:1 or 2:1 care during school transportation times.

As a team member, you'll be an essential presence on the school bus, ensuring safety and comfort for students needing additional support. This contract role runs through May 29, 2026, offering you the chance to build valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Confidence in providing dedicated 1:1 (or 2:1) supervision and care
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with students
  • Attentiveness to student needs, especially in transitional moments like loading/unloading
  • Flexibility and reliability to maintain a consistent daily schedule

Role Overview:

  • Provide attentive care for students during bus rides to and from school
  • Work closely with bus drivers and school staff to ensure student safety
  • Support students with mobility, behavioral, or personal care needs as required
  • Maintain calm, positive interactions in a sometimes fast-paced environment
  • 3 hours per day: 90 minutes in the morning (typically between 6:30-8:30am) and 90 minutes in the afternoon (typically between 2:30-4:30pm)
  • Caseload may involve direct 1:1 or supervision of up to 2 students
