Make an immediate impact supporting young learners as a contract paraprofessional at a vibrant elementary school for the 2026-2027 academic year. Five dedicated professionals are sought to join a Title I program focused on fostering student achievement. Your contributions will help shape a supportive, engaging classroom experience alongside committed educators.

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, please ensure you can provide the following:

Qualifications:

  • Verification of a Paraprofessional II certificate, completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or transcripts reflecting at least 60 post-secondary credits.
  • Three professional references, including one from your most recent supervisor.
  • Experience working with children in educational or structured youth settings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and one-on-one support under teacher direction.
  • Assist in delivering interventions and accommodations for learners who need additional support.
  • Encourage students’ confidence, independence, and engagement in daily activities.
  • Help manage classroom organization and student behavior positively.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Role Details:

  • Contract runs from September 1, 2026 through June 16, 2027.
  • 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:05 am – 3:05 pm).
