This contract position offers the chance to work in specialized educational settings, helping learners thrive both academically and personally.

There are three available positions, each with unique responsibilities:

• 1 itinerant DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) Facilitator, working across multiple sites and supporting virtual DHH services (32 hours weekly).
• 2 PreK Special Education Classroom Support roles, with an emphasis on diapering and personal care support (37.5 hours weekly).

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, especially in school or special education settings.
• Familiarity with supporting students with disabilities or unique learning needs.
• Comfortable providing personal care, including diapering, for PreK-aged students (for PreK roles).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to support multiple classrooms or sites as needed.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers and service providers in implementing educational activities and individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide personal care and support for PreK students, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Accompany and assist DHH students as they participate in virtual services across various campuses.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment by engaging with students and encouraging participation.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress to the teaching team.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure student success.
