Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional, ideally supporting students with behavioral needs
• Ability to follow and complete state-mandated training requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and student engagement
• Patience, flexibility, and compassion in challenging situations
• Willingness to participate in onsite interviews as part of the hiring process

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support for an assigned 8th grader throughout the school day
• Assist with academic activities and behavioral strategies under teacher direction
• Help implement individual education plans and support classroom routines
• Encourage a positive, inclusive atmosphere for learning and personal growth
• Monitor progress, document observations, and communicate regularly with the educational team

This contract runs from now until June 11, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM daily (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
