You’ll work onsite at a respected educational clinic, providing essential 1:1 support tailored to the unique needs of your student. The initial assignment is scheduled from October 1st to November 30th, with the possibility of extension. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing for work-life balance.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, especially with students exhibiting social emotional and behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries with students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational staff and families
• Understanding of confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines in school settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student, assisting with behavioral and social-emotional development throughout the school day
• Implement teacher and therapist recommendations and behavior plans
• Assist with classroom activities and facilitate participation in educational programming
• Offer encouragement, redirection, and positive feedback to help the student succeed
• Track progress and report observations to the multidisciplinary team
