Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess at least 60 semester hours of college credit, or hold an associate degree or higher
- Alternatively, an ETS Parapro Assessment score of at least 460 or SAT scores of at least 480 (evidence-based reading/writing) and 530 (math)
- Ability to provide official university transcripts, proof of assessment, or SAT results prior to submission for district review
- Experience in an educational or caregiving setting preferred
- Comfort with hands-on support, including assisting with toileting or health-related needs for students with significant disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering individualized instruction and classroom management
- Serve as a one-on-one aide for students, helping with academic, behavioral, and personal care needs throughout the school day
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to foster a welcoming, positive learning environment
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Attend virtual interviews as required for placements
