Your school experience will be highly valued, with a preference for candidates who have worked directly with student behaviors, although this is not required. As a vital part of the school community, you'll collaborate with teachers and support staff to help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in school settings is required
  • Direct experience as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Assistant preferred
  • Understanding of behavioral interventions and strategies is an asset
  • Positive, adaptable, and compassionate approach to student support
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities
  • Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Help manage classroom behaviors and facilitate positive student interactions
  • Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials
  • Foster an encouraging and inclusive atmosphere for all students
