Instructional Assistant - Forsyth, GA

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in educational settings is preferred
• Comfort with virtual learning technology and video conferencing tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow therapist and teacher directions precisely
• Patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to working with students
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
• Capable of assisting students with diverse needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Support a homebound student during scheduled online OT, PT, and SLP sessions
• Ensure all equipment is set up and ready for virtual meetings
• Provide encouragement and assistance to help the student engage with therapists
• Follow individual education and therapy plans as directed by professionals
• Document and communicate issues, updates, or successes to supervising staff
• Maintain a positive and safe environment for online learning and therapy

• Summer school position

• End date: July 16th
• Schedule: 11:45am - 2:45pm
