Instructional Assistant - Fountain, CO

An educational support position is available in the Fountain, Colorado area, offering a part-time contract role ideal for individuals passionate about assisting students with diverse needs. This role is focused on providing crucial support within school settings, helping students with both medical and instructional requirements.

Work Schedule:

• 7.5 hours per day
• 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with medical needs to ensure their safety and well-being during the school day.
• Provide instructional support tailored to individual and small group settings.
• Support 1:1 educational programs, helping students meet their learning goals and adapt to the classroom environment.
• Collaborate effectively with educators and support staff to implement individualized plans.
• Engage with assigned programs and adapt to the caseload of students with varied needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role.
• Ability to manage and support small groups and provide attentive 1:1 assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, teachers, and medical staff.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting student success.
• Familiarity with educational and medical support protocols preferred.

Location:

• Position is based in Fountain, Colorado, with additional opportunities in nearby Colorado Springs.
