With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role, ideally within elementary settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to working with young learners.
  • Ability to follow teacher-led instruction and implement individualized education or behavior plans.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or credentials in education are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management, instruction, and clerical support.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students needing additional help.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans.
  • Monitor student engagement and provide encouragement throughout classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
