Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Technician II or III certification required
- Experience as a paraprofessional or direct support professional in an educational setting
- Familiarity with life skills–based curriculum and differentiated instruction for K-5 learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate effectively with faculty
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering and reinforcing life skills curriculum under teacher direction
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to ensure students’ academic and social progress
- Help implement IEPs and behavior plans as directed by educational staff
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to student documentation and progress recordkeeping
- Collaborate with educational staff to modify materials and activities for individual learning needs
