This contract opportunity is designed for passionate Educational Technicians ready to make a real impact in elementary education, working closely with students to foster independence and growth.

You’ll provide daily support across a variety of tasks, assisting with classroom activities and personalized instruction. With a focus on life skills, you’ll help create a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and development. This is a 32-hour per week role, ideal for candidates eager to directly support educational progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Educational Technician II or III certificate (required).
• Experience working as a paraprofessional or educational technician in K-5 settings preferred.
• Familiarity with life skills-based curricula is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to K-5 students in developing life skills essential for daily living and academic success.
• Implement instructional activities as directed by teachers and specialized staff.
• Assist with classroom management and foster student independence.
• Collect and record data to track student progress and adapt approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with educators and therapists to support individual education plans (IEPs).
• Model positive behaviors and encourage respectful participation.
