Instructional Assistant - Gig Harbor, Washington

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Comfortable facilitating virtual interactions between students and SLPs
• Ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively
• Demonstrated patience and enthusiasm working with students of diverse abilities
• Willingness to work a flexible part-time or full-time schedule as needed
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI or open to completing fingerprinting prior to employment

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily operation of virtual speech therapy sessions
• Support the implementation of individualized instruction and behavior plans
• Supervise and engage students during SLP sessions
• Communicate regularly with on-site and virtual education professionals
• Help manage student schedules and ensure timely participation in sessions
• Provide a supportive, encouraging environment for student learning
