Key Qualifications:

• Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (Arizona requirement)
• Hold an active Special Education Teaching License or Certificate in Arizona
• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar support capacity within a school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, administrators, and families
• Demonstrated understanding of compliance procedures, IEP development, and student evaluation processes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Guide the development, implementation, and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs
• Participate actively in administering referrals, conducting student evaluations, and coordinating placement and review conferences
• Support curriculum coordination and offer staff development opportunities to promote best practices among team members
• Facilitate effective communication between teams, administrators, and parents to ensure a unified approach to student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines for special education support
