Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, behavioral technician, or similar role in a school environment
- Certified CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training
- Familiarity with principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and guidance from a BCBA
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and special education staff
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in responding to students’ unique needs
- Ability to maintain accurate data and documentation
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students requiring behavioral assistance
- Implement behavioral intervention plans as developed by BCBA supervision
- Assist with classroom management, reinforcing established routines and expectations
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
