Qualifications:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and collaborate with staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to individual students or small groups
• Assist teachers with classroom management and implementation of lesson plans
• Support students with academic tasks, assignments, and activities
• Foster a positive, respectful, and safe classroom culture
• Aid students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs), when applicable
• Help supervise students during daily transitions, breaks, and activities
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
