Paraprofessional in Greenland, NH

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, classroom aide, or in a related behavior-based support role
• Flexibility to adapt as the student’s exact needs and daily responsibilities are clarified
• Ability to build a positive rapport with students and work collaboratively with school staff
• Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism within a school setting
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in behavior intervention a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a designated student throughout the school day
• Assist with academic assignments, behavioral guidance, and other individualized services
• Help the student follow classroom routines and participate fully in learning activities
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with teachers and staff
• Follow all school and district protocols to maintain a safe and respectful environment
