Position Highlights:

• One opening serves grades K-1 in an autistic support environment, while another is available for grades 3-5.
• Full-time hours follow the assigned school's regular schedule, ensuring consistency for you and your students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on classroom assistance tailored to the needs of students on the autism spectrum.
• Support daily routines, including guidance through classroom transitions for maximum comfort and safety.
• Assist with toileting and basic personal care to foster student independence and dignity.
• Supervise students during lunch and provide occasional coverage for other paraprofessionals as needed.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to meet individualized education goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional or in a school setting supporting students with special needs, especially autism.
