This contract opportunity invites compassionate, dedicated individuals to make a difference during the 25/26 school year in a supportive school environment. Two full-time positions are available – one focused on autistic support for grades K–1, and another supporting grades 3–5. Assignments run from ASAP through June 5, 2026, with hours based on location and the school’s schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings is highly preferred
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism and implementing inclusive strategies
• Willingness to assist with toileting or hygiene needs as required
• Adaptability for varied tasks, including classroom transitions and coverage of other paraprofessional duties
• Strong teamwork, patience, and communication skills
• Ability to work according to school schedules
• Commitment to nurturing and empowering students with special needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on assistance to students with special needs, focusing on autistic support classrooms
• Assist with classroom transitions, ensuring students are safe and comfortable
• Monitor and support students during lunch periods
• Step in to cover other paraprofessionals as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Promote a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
