Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year! We are looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to work full-time in a welcoming educational environment in areas such as Fox Chapel, Oakmont, Monroeville, Swissvale, or nearby communities. These roles are vital for delivering day-to-day support within autistic support classrooms—one serving grades K-1 and the other grades 3-5.

You’ll be an essential member of the school community, providing consistent encouragement and practical help to students. Your commitment helps create an inclusive, nurturing space where every child can thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school or special education setting
• Passion for working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
• Flexible and patient demeanor, with strong collaboration skills
• Ability to support with physical care needs (including possible toileting), classroom transitions, lunch supervision, and substitute coverage for other paraprofessionals as needed
• Reliable, prompt, and ready for a full-time schedule in accordance with the school calendar and hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in delivering individualized support to students
• Help students with transitions, both within the classroom and around school
• Monitor students during lunch times and contribute to positive peer interactions
• Support students’ personal needs and promote their independence
• Step in as needed to provide coverage for paraprofessional colleagues

These positions start as soon as possible and continue through June 5, 2026.
