We are seeking two dedicated professionals to support students in environments committed to fostering growth and independence. These contract roles are located within easy reach of Fox Chapel, Oakmont, Monroeville, Swissvale, and surrounding areas, making your daily commute smooth and convenient.

Positions are available for those passionate about making a difference in specialized classrooms. One opening focuses on autistic support for kindergarten through first grade, and the other supports grades 3–5. Both roles offer the chance to work hands-on with students, providing meaningful assistance and encouragement every day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a school setting
• Compassionate and patient approach when working with children with autism or special needs
• Ability to assist with daily classroom routines and transitions
• Willingness to support with toileting and personal care as needed
• Flexible and adaptable to support both classroom and lunchroom settings
• Team-oriented, dependable, and driven to foster a positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in maintaining a structured, supportive classroom
• Foster smooth transitions between activities and classrooms
• Provide coverage for other paraprofessionals as needed
• Supervise and support students during lunch and throughout the school day
• Support students’ individual needs, encouraging independence and participation
