Instructional Assistant - Greenwood, Arkansas

Make a real impact supporting students across multiple campuses as an itinerant paraprofessional. This contract opportunity involves working collaboratively to provide vital educational assistance and promote an inclusive classroom experience for learners on three different campuses. You’ll play a key role in encouraging student success and fostering positive relationships within the school community—every day brings new opportunities to help students thrive.

What we’re seeking:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms, teachers, and student needs
• Outstanding communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organization and time management for traveling between campuses
• Understanding of classroom management and behavior intervention strategies
• Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting teachers in instructional activities and classroom organization
• Working one-on-one and in small groups to support student learning
• Implementing IEP or 504 accommodations under teacher guidance
• Helping with supervision during classroom transition times, meals, recess, or arrival/dismissal
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Communicating with school staff and families as needed about student progress
• Rotating between three school campuses to provide consistent, high-quality support
