Instructional Assistant - Gridley, CA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school Paraprofessional supporting students with unique needs in a dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, particularly Level 3
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
• Ability to remain composed and proactive in challenging, high-intensity situations
• Flexible, solution-oriented mindset and excellent team collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers and staff in delivering individualized instruction and behavioral support for students with significant needs
• Work directly with students to foster academic, social, and emotional growth within both classroom and individualized settings
• Implement behavior management strategies under the direction of educational leaders
• Provide close supervision to ensure student safety, engagement, and progress throughout the school day
• Participate in planning sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

This full-time contract position covers 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll be working in a supportive school atmosphere where your expertise and compassion will help shape student lives and educational journeys.
