Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school or similar setting preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent required; further coursework or certification in education or special needs support is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students in classrooms, under the supervision of certified teachers
- Assist with instruction, classroom management, and reinforcement of lessons
- Support students individually or in small groups to help them achieve academic and social goals
- Aid in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) where applicable
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Assist with preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom activities
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
