Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or teacher’s aide preferred
• Familiarity with classroom routines, instructional support, and working with children or adolescents
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with teachers and staff
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility, patience, and a caring attitude toward students
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities, providing instructional and behavioral support
• Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce lessons and foster engagement
• Support students who have learning differences, helping to implement accommodations and modifications
• Contribute to a safe, positive classroom environment by promoting respect and cooperation
• Supervise students during transitions, lunchtime, and other non-academic periods as needed
• Document progress and observations to help inform the instructional team
