Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience or genuine interest in supporting elementary-aged students as a paraprofessional.
• Ability to provide three professional references, including your most recent supervisor.
• Proof of EITHER a Paraprofessional II certificate, post-secondary transcripts showing the completion of an Associate’s degree (or credit equivalence), OR a completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and collaborative spirit.
• Flexibility and a positive attitude in responding to varying student needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students in small groups or one-on-one, reinforcing lesson material and fostering a positive classroom environment.
• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Help implement specialized interventions for Title 1 students.
• Foster a welcoming, nurturing, and respectful climate for all learners.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and staff regarding student progress and needs.

This full academic year contract covers 32.5 hours per week, from 8:05 AM to 3:05 PM, starting in September and running through mid-June. Enjoy meaningful days in a supportive school community while developing professional skills in education.
