A full-time paraprofessional opportunity is available working with a high school student with autism. This position requires strong experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), specifically with discrete trials and behavior management strategies. The role is a contract position starting immediately and extending through June 2026, with a weekly schedule of 32.5 to 35 hours.
Location: Hanover, NH
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a high school student with autism
- Utilize ABA techniques, including discrete trials, to assist with learning and behavior goals
- Implement behavior intervention plans effectively and consistently
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student success
- Document progress and communicate with the educational team regularly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting is required
- Demonstrated expertise in ABA strategies and behavior management
- Ability to support students with autism using individualized approaches
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, flexibility, and dedication to enhancing student learning
