Begin an impactful role supporting high school students as a paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Hanover, NH, this full-time contract opportunity spans from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the chance to make a genuine difference in a school environment. You’ll work Monday through Friday, with weekly hours ranging from 32 to 37.5, supporting classroom teachers and individual learners while fostering a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or educational assistant is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience and adaptability when working with high school students
  • Basic knowledge of classroom procedures and student management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some familiarity with special education or student support a plus

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist classroom teachers in instructional and non-instructional tasks
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Implement accommodations and modifications as directed
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and during activities
  • Support students in managing assignments and daily activities
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful atmosphere
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other school staff
