1:1 Pediatric Instructional Assistant - Harrisville, RI

A dedicated paraprofessional position is available to support elementary students with social-emotional needs in a structured school environment. This role requires a compassionate and patient professional who can work closely with students to foster their academic and personal growth within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to elementary students, focusing particularly on social-emotional development
• Assist with classroom activities and individualized educational plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
• Support behavior management and social skills development in line with school and district guidelines

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience working as a paraprofessional with elementary-aged children, especially those with social-emotional challenges
• Ability to work effectively in a one-on-one setting with students requiring additional support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families
