Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Ability to follow directives and support certified teachers in implementing lesson plans

  • High school diploma or GED required; relevant college coursework or paraprofessional certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in classroom management, behavioral support, and lesson delivery
  • Provide individualized or small-group academic and social support to students
  • Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for learners
  • Help with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during activities
  • Support students with special needs as directed by teaching staff or IEPs
  • Monitor students during arrival, dismissal, or transitions between classes
