Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Previous experience working with children in schools or educational programs
• Understanding of child development and classroom dynamics
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to follow individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt to diverse student needs
• Patience, reliability, and a passion for making an impact
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and emotional support to students as directed by teachers and specialists
• Assist with individual and small group instruction
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Support teachers with administrative tasks related to lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Foster a safe and respectful learning environment
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the educational team
