Instructional Assistant - Hartford, CT

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Completion of all state-mandated trainings

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing individualized assistance and support to assigned student(s)
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and specialists to implement educational plans
• Supporting students’ participation in classroom activities and inclusion programs
• Assisting with social and behavioral development in line with school guidelines
• Documenting student progress and collaborating with the educational team
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, with hours set to match the school day (either 7:40 am–2:30 pm or 7:20 am–2:30 pm), creating predictability and work-life balance.
