Special Education Para Professional in Haverhill, MA

This full-time, contract opportunity (32.5 hours per week) involves working closely with students as a dedicated paraprofessional. You’ll be placed in one of several engaging settings, including serving as a 1:1 aide, supporting substantially separate classrooms, or helping out in specialized programs for students with diverse needs and behaviors. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a school-based support position
• Calm, patient, and able to redirect challenging behaviors positively
• Comfortable with both 1:1 and small-group support
• Familiarity with supporting students who have IEPs or special needs
• Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Ability to follow guidance and implement individualized support plans
