We're seeking compassionate and dedicated professionals for multiple paraprofessional and program assistant opportunities in a vibrant school community near Haverhill, MA. This contract position offers full-time hours (32.5 per week) and the chance to support students in a variety of settings. You'll build meaningful connections, gain hands-on experience, and be an essential part of each student’s academic and personal growth.

Positions are available to support both individual students and specialized classrooms, including:

  • 1:1 support roles
  • Classroom assistant roles in substantially separate classrooms
  • Program assistant positions in lower school, upper school, resource room, and CHOICES programs (supporting students with behavioral needs)

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings highly preferred
  • Ability to support students with a variety of academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Strong communication, patience, and dependability
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different classroom routines and student needs
  • Commitment to building positive, respectful relationships with students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class and/or individual support to students according to their specific IEP or program requirements
  • Assist teachers in implementing lessons, behavior plans, and classroom activities
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment where every student can thrive
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and fellow support staff
  • Document student progress and communicate observations to the team
