Teacher's Aide - Hayward, California

Exciting contract opportunities are now available for dedicated Paraprofessionals in the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions are open at multiple schools in areas like Hillsborough, Colma, Daly City, San Bruno, and San Mateo, with assignments spanning from August 11, 2025 to May 29, 2026. Each role averages 30 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, including a paid 10-minute break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation; must be able to commute independently
• Must reside locally within the San Mateo or San Francisco Bay Area
• At least 2 years of recent paraprofessional experience in schools (preferred)
• Strong data collection and behavioral support experience (preferred)
• Experience in Safety Care training is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students at a single school site
• Collect and document student data as instructed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education teacher
• Exhibit calmness, flexibility, and professionalism in all interactions
• Prioritize excellent attendance and dependable reliability
• Assist specialists by supporting school readiness, pre-academic instruction, and facilitating positive social interactions during recess and group activities
