What We're Looking For:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or GED required
• At least one year of experience working with children or within a group childcare setting
• Successful completion of (or willingness to complete) the Instructional Assistant Exam, unless possessing a Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework, AA degree, or 48+ college-level units
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds to support materials management
• Track record of professionalism, reliability, and positive references (three required)
• Must complete Livescan fingerprinting and TB testing

Highly Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous paraprofessional or instructional support experience in school settings
• Background in science disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics), engineering, or basic science lab skills
• Experience with creative instruction methods such as performance, skits, arts, or storytelling
• Progress toward or possession of a teaching credential is a major advantage
