Teacher's Aide - Hazlet, New Jersey

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a school setting as a paraprofessional, especially at the elementary or preschool level
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable throughout the school day
• Comfortable providing 1:1 support for students when required
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and effective communication skills
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and administrators
• Capable of following classroom protocols while fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers and educational staff to support student learning and meet educational objectives
• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and social skills
• Provide 1:1 assistance for students with additional needs as directed
• Support classroom management and help maintain an organized, engaging environment
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding student progress and challenges
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive classroom for all learners
