Teacher's Aide - Henderson, North Carolina

Here, you will work alongside educators and be a vital support to students in elementary and middle school, particularly those who require behavioral support or are on the autism spectrum. With scheduling still being finalized, flexibility and adaptability are key as you help tailor each day to meet students’ unique needs. Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma and at least 48 hours of college-level coursework
• Two or more years of school-based experience as a paraprofessional
• Familiarity working with students who have behavioral needs and/or autism
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to varying schedules, with potential for partial-day hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one academic and behavioral support to assigned students
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized education strategies
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with classroom management and instructional activities
