Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Crisis Prevention Training completed or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Paraprofessional certification for MN or a minimum of 60 completed college credits
• Dedication to student success and enthusiasm for working with children of varied backgrounds and abilities
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Flexibility, patience, and reliability in managing daily classroom routines

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instruction, classroom management, and support for students with diverse needs
• Provide one-on-one and small group guidance for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of certified teachers
• Support students in crisis or challenging situations following established safety protocols
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a safe and constructive school environment
