Teacher's Aide - Hillsborough, North Carolina

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in a school environment
• Familiarity with supporting students with mild to moderate behavioral needs
• Comfort assisting young children with toileting and self-care tasks
• Ability to effectively engage with students across a wide age range (pre-K through 12th grade)
• Flexibility to adapt to a caseload that may include multiple schools and varying needs
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar (August 18, 2026 – June 10, 2027)
• Providing classroom support, reinforcing lessons, and assisting with behavior management
• Offering individualized support for students requiring extra help, including toileting and personal care when necessary
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to track student progress and support learning objectives
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive environment that encourages growth and participation
