Preschool Teacher Aide - Hornell, NY

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a full-time Preschool Teacher’s Aide in a supportive school setting near Hornell New York. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you’ll partner closely with teachers and school staff in both one-on-one and resource classroom environments. In this role, you will help support student achievement by implementing individualized educational strategies aligned with IEP and PPT goals while fostering a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support based on each student’s unique educational and behavioral needs
• Assist with implementing accommodations and instructional strategies that support learning and communication
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to maintain a structured and encouraging classroom environment
• Observe and track student progress, sharing feedback to support instructional planning and adjustments
• Encourage the development of positive social, emotional, and behavioral skills through patient and consistent support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Teacher’s Aide or Teacher Assistant
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and students
• Passion for supporting inclusive education and student success within an elementary school setting
