Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a comparable educational support role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to establish rapport with students, staff, and parents
• Experience working with students with a variety of learning needs
• Flexible, adaptive, and enthusiastic approach to daily challenges
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment
• Familiarity with ESY programs or behavioral assistance is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during the extended school year
• Assist classroom teachers with implementing academic and behavioral strategies
• Encourage student engagement and participation
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
• Help facilitate classroom activities and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
• Support students in developing social skills and independence
• Work collaboratively with school professionals and families as needed
