Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students in a dynamic school environment for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. Two full-time contract positions are open, each offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while assisting students with diverse learning needs. These roles are needed to cover leaves of absence, with the possibility of extension into Extended School Year (ESY) or Next School Year (NSY) based on district needs.
Candidates will be assigned to either a high school (7:15 am – 2:45 pm) or elementary setting (8:00 am – 3:30 pm), depending on background and preference. Both roles will involve assisting students in classroom environments and lifeskills rooms, collaborating closely with educators to ensure students thrive academically and personally.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Paraeducator preferred
- Comfortable assisting in lifeskills classrooms
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Professional, patient, and flexible attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting a safe learning environment
