Instructional Assistant - Jaffrey, New Hampshire

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or personal care assistant in a school preferred
• Flexible approach to supporting students’ toileting and personal care needs
• Comfortable assisting with a range of academic and classroom activities
• Commitment to creating a supportive, positive learning environment
• Patience, understanding, and dedication to working with students with diverse needs
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with IEPs in academic tasks and classroom participation
• Provide attentive personal care, including toileting and mobility support as needed
• Encourage student engagement with peers and classroom activities
• Work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to adapt instruction
• Monitor progress and offer feedback to ensure consistent growth
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive school climate
