Instructional Assistant - Jaffrey, New Hampshire

You’ll support a small group of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing both academic assistance and personal care to ensure every learner has a chance to thrive in the general education environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or PCA, particularly in a school setting
• Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and personal care needs
• Comfort aiding students with academics and adapting to various instructional activities
• Flexibility and patience working with students of diverse abilities
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative outlook

Responsibilities:

• Support students with IEPs in their daily academic activities and engagement
• Provide hands-on assistance with personal care, including toileting, as needed
• Work under the direction of certified teaching staff to implement lesson plans and learning strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
• Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with other staff and families
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of assigned students throughout the school day

This contract opportunity runs Monday through Friday from August 26, 2026, to June 15, 2027, following a typical school day schedule: 8:40 AM to 3:33 PM.
