Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a school setting, especially as a paraprofessional, is strongly preferred.
• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational and behavioral needs.
• Adaptability and eagerness to assist in various classroom environments (K-12).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers and specialist staff.
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss their caseload and classroom preferences during the interview.

Responsibilities:

• Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement lesson plans and behavioral strategies.
• Assist students individually or in small groups in accordance with educational plans.
• Document progress and communicate regularly with the classroom team.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
