Key Qualifications:

• Active substitute certificate on file with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) or in process (must be active before start)
• School-based and behavior support experience required
• Ability to pass fingerprinting per district requirements
• Willingness to assist with toileting and support students with behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
• Experience with special education populations welcomed
• Reliable and comfortable using a scheduling app to pick up shifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assistance in SPED classrooms, supporting students with behavioral needs
• Step in for call outs as needed, covering 1:1 or classroom aide assignments
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement student support plans
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Work schedules set by your availability through the scheduling app; shifts available most weekdays across the district

You’ll have the flexibility to accept 1-5 days of work per week—only paid for the hours you work—with schedules matching either middle, high, or elementary school times.
