Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Kansas City, Missouri area for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students and classroom teachers in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide instructional and classroom support under the direction of the classroom teacher
Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Support individual students and small groups during classroom instruction
Help implement behavior support plans and classroom management strategies
Assist with classroom organization, preparation of instructional materials, and daily activities
Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success
Maintain confidentiality and comply with district policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or related setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for supporting student success
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree or college coursework preferred, but not required
