Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role is highly preferred
• Understanding of basic classroom procedures and willingness to follow teacher guidance
• Strong communication skills with both students and staff
• Patience and flexibility when assisting children of varying needs and abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional related coursework is a plus)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Help implement lesson plans and activities under the supervision of classroom teachers
• Provide support to individual students and small groups to help them meet educational goals
• Encourage positive behaviors and foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and organization, including materials and resources
• Offer additional support to students with special needs as directed
• Supervise lunch, recess, or bus duties as needed
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information
