Duties include morning and afternoon shifts—approximately 90 minutes each—totaling around 15 hours per week. You’ll work with students requiring extra support, fostering a positive and secure ride to and from school. This assignment runs from now through May 29, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, school bus aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant is welcome
- Ability to offer compassionate 1:1 or small group care to students with diverse needs
- Reliable and punctual, with consistent attendance for daytime AM and PM routes
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude in a school setting
- Enthusiasm for working directly with students and supporting their growth
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist students during bus transport, providing attentive 1:1 or 2:1 care
- Safely support embarkation and disembarkation for assigned students
- Communicate clearly with bus drivers, school staff, and parents as needed
- Observe and report on student well-being and any incidents during transportation
- Follow all safety procedures and district protocols
