Classroom Aide | Kingston, Pennsylvania

A rewarding opportunity is available for contract Personal Care Aides ready to make a difference in educational environments. Working onsite at various schools, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students' daily success. Assignment locations are determined by district needs and may include elementary, intermediate, and high school settings. The contract runs through June 2027, with full-time, 35-hour work weeks.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or Personal Care Aide in a school or similar setting
• Fully credentialed candidates are given preference
• Ability to quickly obtain or provide:
  • Act 151 PA Child Abuse Clearance
  • Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting for Department of Education
  • Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting certification
  • Clearance background checks (PATCH/Act 134)
  • Physical exam within 60 days of start date
  • 2-Step TB Test or Quantiferon TB Blood Test
  • Drug Screen as directed during onboarding
  • Act 168 paperwork if you have prior experience working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to supporting children with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or group assistance to students as directed by teachers or specialists
• Support students with daily routines and classroom activities
• Assist with behavior management and social-emotional development
• Help students with special needs in both academic and non-academic settings
• Collaborate with staff to implement educational plans

This position offers a pay rate up to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
