Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day
• Assisting with classroom activities, transitions, and personal care as required
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to foster a supportive learning environment
• Implementing behavior and academic support plans under the direction of instructional staff
• Promoting student independence and inclusion in classroom and school communities

Desired qualifications and requirements:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or personal care aide, preferably in educational settings
• Pennsylvania credentialing for PCAs (Act 151 PA Child Abuse Clearance, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, Act 126 Training Certificate, physical within 60 days, 2-step TB test or Quantiferon TB test, PATCH/Act 134 background check, Act 168 paperwork if applicable)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow individualized education plans and adapt to changing environments
• Commitment to student safety, well-being, and confidentiality

Your assignment will be on-site for 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with placements at either elementary, intermediate, high school, or specialized support settings. You’ll be joining a collaborative community, dedicated to student success for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
