Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working in a school environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with high school-aged students and understanding of their developmental needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and staff
• Ability to provide instructional support in both group and one-on-one settings
• Reliable, organized, and flexible with a compassionate approach to assisting students

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with teachers to implement lesson plans and accommodations for diverse learners
• Support students with classroom activities, assignments, and positive behavior strategies
• Assist in monitoring student progress and providing feedback under teacher supervision
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
• Help manage classroom organization, materials, and preparation for various learning activities
• Supervise students during transitions, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods as needed
