This full-time assignment extends from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the opportunity to empower young learners during a pivotal period of their development. The role is contract based, with steady weekly hours (32-37.5/week), and is based near the scenic Laconia, NH area.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting students in classroom settings, preferably in grades 5–8
  • Familiarity with individualized educational plans (IEPs) and classroom accommodations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with both teachers and students
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for fostering student success
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in education or special needs support are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct classroom and individual support to students as directed by teaching staff
  • Assist in implementing academic and behavioral plans under teacher supervision
  • Facilitate small group instruction, reinforce lessons, and adapt activities for varied learning needs
  • Supervise students during transitions and lunch periods to ensure safety and promote positive behavior
  • Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and data collection for student progress
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
